You don’t have to go to Ooty, Munnar, Kodaikanal or Western ghats to trek, you have the same geography near Bangalore.

About the place - Need a break from the heat and dust of the plains? Welcome to the Nandi Hills one of the hill resorts of Karnataka. Standing 1,478 meters above sea level Nandi hill is Bangalore 's own hill station. It was Tipu Sultan's summer retreat and Tipu's fort walls still stand as testimony to history. The Nandi Hills or the hills of the Nandi have been named after the bull of Lord Shiva Nandi Hills is a small hill range near Bangalore. Its claim to fame is the beautiful climate all year round. The pleasant hill resort of Nandi Hills is also known as Nandigiri or Nandidurga amongst the locals, it is wonderfully cool in the Nandi Hills. So, many tourists head to this beautiful hill station (unlucky ones don’t know the trek route and so travel by road).

Events included in this package is Trek in various terrain as you can see in the photographs, we call it as an multi terrain trek as it has rocks, plains grasslands, bushes, trees and a bit of roads too.

About the event - Trek to Nandi hills will be totally cross country and not through the roads, all the participants are requested to report a pick up point in Bangalore at about 6:30 am. From there we will be traveling by road for about next 50 kilometers, we will be parking our vehicle in the foothills in a farmhouse and start the trek (at least by 8:30 am).

It’s an approx 3 hrs trek to the summit, obviously we will trek back to the foothills, but not by the same route.

Somewhere just before mid way we will have our breakfast. Lunch (Plate Vegetarian meals, any extra should be purchased by participants) will be taken on the top of the hill at a restaurant; evening tea will be taken in a Dhaba on our return journey.

Food Vegetarian Breakfast, Vegetarian Lunch (Non vegetarian Lunch optional at participant’s expense – minus our lunch budget), and High Tea with Snacks. NOTE: - Advice No Liquor as it leads to dehydration.
